 Since
1989, Art has been involved with the development of
state-of-the art nutrition programs for sports, medical and
weight-management applications.
He assisted in the
development of several programs for SporTelesis, Inc.,
including Nutritionalysis (proprietary to Gold’s Gyms),
California Fitness, LA Lifestyle and Ortho Nutrition. He
also assisted in the design of the corporate wellness
program for Beckman Medical Instruments, Brea, CA. as well
as Bluefield Regional Hospital in Bluefield, VA.
Today, he spearheads the development of
interactive, educational fitness components for trainers,
coaches, athletes, health clubs, academic centers, medical
facilities and corporations interested in weight-management,
nutrition, fitness and sport-specific training.
As a leading industry consultant, he has
been published in trade magazines (CBI March 1994;
May 1997; Club Industry June 1995; Personal
Fitness Professional July 2002;) he is often quoted as
an expert in the marketing of weight-management, fitness and
sport-specific programming.
